Please have the following supplies on hand to create your tied fleece blanket:
 Sharp scissors OR a rotary blade cutter and mat
 A measuring tape or ruler 
 A table or floor space to do the initial cutting 
 Pins or large safety pins 
 Fleece (can be purchased by the yard or in kits from Joann or other fabric store, either online or in person. 
        o The following measurements: Large adult single blanket requires TWO CUTS 2.5 yards of 54”to 59” wide BLIZARD fleece in complementing colors/patterns. This size is more ideal for homeless who may have to sleep outdoors. 
       o OR you can purchase a fleece blanket kit at Joann Fabrics. They generally measure 48” x 72” and are a good size for children. Watch for a sale or use a coupon (joann.com
