This trailhead features interpretive exhibits about the human history of the Preserve and serves as the major access point to the vast network of trails in the area. The Trailhead is located approximately 1.25 miles north of the intersection of Alma School Parkway and Dynamite Boulevard. Choose the level half mile nature walk or the hikers' 3.1 mile trail. AMENITIES: Directory, Information, Restrooms, Seating, Shelter, Water, Biking, Horse Trails, Dogs, Horse Shelter, Family Friendly, Handicap Accessible. After the walk / hike, we'll meet at the home of Terry Brown, just a short drive away for a DELICIOUS brunch: 10430 E. Skinner Drive, Scottsdale, 85262, at 11am. Bring a hat, sunscreen; we'll provide water bottles. If you prefer not to walk/hike, then come for brunch! Cost $22/person.
