Annual Gift of the Heart Commitment

We are asking each household in our community to help sustain Congregation Or Tzion by pledging a financial contribution. The synagogue’s budget is approximately $1.3 million, or $2,700 if divided evenly amongst each congregant household. Your support will help ensure our synagogue thrives financially and experientially, brings joy to all and is a light in the community this fiscal year and for many years to come. 

Your Gift of the Heart pledge includes:

  • Membership dues
  • High Holiday seats for you and your immediate family members (up to age 23)
  • Yom Kippur appeal

A security fee of $90 will be assessed for each congregant household, and religious school, if applicable, is a separate tuition fee.

Gift of the Heart is independent of Men’s Club and Women’s League dues, youth group, and b’nai mitzvah fees.

Introducing M’orot Society
 
With Gift of the Heart having been successfully adopted, we are now looking to committed members of the congregation to create a model of sustained financial support so that we can expand the opportunity to create positive memories and learning experiences for everyone in our community.

Congregants making a Gift of the Heart commitment of $3,600 or more will become a member of the M’orot (Luminary) Society, a new major gifts program of Congregation Or Tzion. More details are below or feel free to contact Frank Jacobson or Steve Goldstein with any questions.

After you click "Make Your Pledge," the next page will ask you to confirm and set up your payment. Once you are logged into your account, you will have the following payment options: 

  • Gift in full by billing to your account and mailing a check payable to "Congregation Or Tzion," by September 1, 2022
  • Gift in full by eCheck, credit, or debit card, by September 1, 2022
  • Gift in two equal installments by eCheck, credit, or debit card by September 1 and December 1, 2022
  • Gift in four equal installments by eCheck, credit, or debit card on or about July 1, September 1, December 1, 2022 and March 1, 2023
  • Gift in 12 monthly equal installments by eCheck, credit, or debit card, starting July 2022


Note: You must be logged into your account to set up your payment with either a credit card or debit card (eCheck).
