Assures that Shabbat morning services run smoothly, oversees the distribution of honors to the congregation. You can learn by shadowing another coordinator until you're comfortable!
Have a Zoom-to-Zoom Shabbat or social distanced gathering with a new Or Tzion Family.
Responsible for integrating all the elements of the service including making the worship space suitable for all, logistics, honors are assigned and maintaining the flow of services.
A  legacy program that ensures and endows the future of Congregation Or Tzion.
Develop and execute plans for Synagogue growth, including website, social media, and publicity.
Attract, welcome and retain the diverse membership of our community!
Coordinates events and services for congregants (families with infants-2nd grade)
Provides guidance and recommendations regarding all aspects of our religious practice.
Plan and support events that embody the Jewish values of Tzedakah (justice), Hesed (compassion), and Shalom (peace).
Oversees programming and fundraising for Kadima, Jr & Sr USY.
Visiting and caring for the sick, preparing and delivering meals.
Be a part of our social groups, meet new people and get involved! (formation of new Havurot is on hold until we can gather in person. Please check the box if you are interested and we will be in touch at a later date.)
Social and educational activities for our 55+ members ("Empty Nesters")
Help clergy and staff with cool things as they come up...like the items listed above.
Providing social, athletic, service, ritual, educational, and "libation-al" opportunities for Jewish men ages 13-120.
